| Field | What we found / documented |
|---|---|
| C2PA Content Credentials | Attached by default, per Adobe documentation |

Adobe was a founding member of the Content Authenticity Initiative and has built Content Credentials support directly into Firefly and several Creative Cloud apps. Adobe's help documentation describes the credential as attached automatically, without a separate opt-in step, which makes Firefly one of the more consistently documented generators for this specific question.
A default-on credential is still only a declaration until it is verified: check the signer, the claim contents, and whether the manifest validates, rather than treating "Content Credentials present" as an automatic authenticity stamp. Our Content Credentials marker inspector checks for the presence of a credential container; for full signature and trust-chain verification, use a dedicated C2PA verifier as our Content Credentials guide explains.
Questions this page answers
Does an empty metadata result mean the image is not from Adobe Firefly?
No. A missing field can mean the metadata was never written, was stripped by an export or upload step, or was not inspected by this tool. Treat it as inconclusive, not as proof either way.
Does this page verify a specific image is from Adobe Firefly?
No. It describes documented or observed behavior for Adobe Firefly in general. To evaluate one file, inspect it with our metadata viewer and Content Credentials marker inspector and weigh the result alongside other context.
